Dr. Beth Turner- Owner/Head Veterinarian:

Dr. Turner was born and raised in New Jersey. Her passion for animals began at very young age and by the time she was five years old she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her parents nurtured her love of animals by surrounding her with dogs, cats and horses. Dr. Turner obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Cook College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick . NJ. From there, she continued her education at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She graduated from NCSU in 2000 and began her career and passion as a veterinarian. After graduation, she worked as an associate veterinarian at practices in Smithfield, NC and Garner, NC.
While in veterinary school, Beth met her husband, Dr. Matthew Turner.  Dr. Matthew Turner is a swine veterinarian for Prestage Farms. His career there, is what led her to open her own practice in Clinton in 2007.
Dr. Turner has served as the shelter veterinarian since 2009. During her tenure as shelter veterinarian, she has helped many canines get adopted. She enjoys working with the shelter and Underdog Ranch Pet  Adoptions in finding canines  their forever homes. Dr. Turner has served on the Board of Health since 2011. She is also a former Rotarian.
In 2012 Dr. Turner was blessed with the adoption of her son, Christopher. He has been the greatest joy of her life. Fortunately for her, Christopher is as much of a fan of animals as she is.
Dr. Turner enjoys supporting community events and she and her staff have fundraisers for different groups, such as Underdog Ranch Pet Adoptions, DSS and Backpack Buddies. Dr. Turner and her team regularly try to plan ways to help the local community that has supported them over the years.
